Pat was my lecturer during 2007 whilst I studied to become a personal trainer. I found him to be knowledgeable, innovative and encouraging. Although I had a personal trainer during this time, I thought I would try out Pat as a trainer, just to see if he was as good a trainer as he was a teacher. He did not disappoint. He took my weights training to new levels which I did not think was possible. His approach and variety was fantastic. I have learned many wonderful things from him which I now include in training my own clients. I highly recommend Pat to anyone.

One knows he’s getting results when people around him say, “You look really fit” or “You’ve lost a lot of baby fat weight” or when all of a sudden, you get that special ‘glance’ from strangers. I probably wouldn’t have achieved these results without the help of Pat. He was an awesome motivator through my journey of not only looking better but also feeling better and healthier. It’s one thing to instruct people to do 3 sets of push-ups, it takes another level of coaching to push further and get you motivated to wake up early in the morning to go to the gym and lift weights. Pat got me back into not only a training regime, but also on better ways to take care of myself outside of the gym. His knowledge and advice were excellent, but for me what made my relationship with Pat during this time special was his enthusiasm and positive attitude. I would recommend Pat as a personal trainer to anyone who was interested in taking up the challenge of getting themselves fit, which isn’t easy at times, but with Pat’s help I am sure you will succeed.

I attended Pat’s Wyn Cycle Instructor course in 2008. I found Pat to be a very effective trainer, coach and mentor during the course and during several follow-up meetings. His course was presented to be challenging, yet achievable to deliver the best possible outcome for his students. Pat took the time to work with and optimise the results of each individual student, going beyond our expectations to assist and benefit us. Pat’s teaching style is thorough, motivating and very personable. It is obvious that Pat is a natural teacher and enjoys his work. Pat is an amazing personal trainer. Not only has he helped me on the road towards reaching my fitness and health objectives, but he has also helped me feel better about whom I am as a person. He is also willing to help me out with any of the challenges that life throws at me. Dear Pat, we just wanted to say a big thank you for being our trainer this year!! Although we didn’t get to train with you for very long, we both really enjoyed our training sessions and got alot out of them both from a fitness and personal perspective. In the cynical “lawyer” world we both inhabit, it is really rare to come across someone who clearly has so much passion for what they do, shows so much enthusiasm when they are doing it and is really happy to make that extra effort just because they can. We really have enjoyed your emails, newsletters and other advice over the past few months and hope we can be kept on the mailing list and share in your helpful hints and tips here in Melbourne.
